Death

Stanley A. Pearson, 83, of Kansas City, died Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at Woodbine Care Center. He was born Aug. 27, 1922, in Northfield, Minn., to Algot and Anna Pearson, who preceded him in death. He also was preceded in death by his first wife and a brother, Carl.

On Feb. 25, 1961, he married Mary A. Simpson.He owned and operated Machine Engraving Company from 1953 until he retired in 1988, specializing in the manufacture of jewelry dies and fine engraving for manufacturing jewelry companies. He was a Lutheran by faith.

Survivors include his wife, Mary, of the home; a brother, Ervin H. Pearson, of Redwood Falls, Minn.; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Carl Pearson, of the state of California; and several nieces and nephews.

Blue Lodge services for Stanley A. Pearson were held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 9, 2006, at D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel in Gladstone with Scottish Rite. Memorial Services immediately following. Graveside services and burial were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 10, 2006, at Mount Rose Memorial Park in Lebanon, under the direction of D.W. Newcomer's Sons White Chapel.
