From the rootsweb Polk county cemetary page: Trinity Norwegian Evangelical Lutheran Church was organized in 1884 and at first met in the homes of members. The church was built in 1897 and being completed and dedicated in 1912. Some of the early ministers who served were Rev. Bergsvend Anderson 1884 - 1894, Nicolai Heierman 1884 - 1894, Andreas Anderson Helland 1893 - 1894. About 1968 the church became Trinity Free Lutheran Church. This church is still active.
The Church was built on land belonging to Christopher Anderson. It is located in the SW corner of his original homestead in Lessor Township. Three is another cemetary SW of the church which was the Swedish Zion Lutheran Church (no longer standing) but the cemetary remains.
