Death | Obituary, WRH 12 Dec 1947 Death of H. J. Sievers H.J. Sievers, 75, St. Paul, former Winona resident, died at 8;15 p. m. Thursday at Ancker hospital, St. Paul. He had suffered a stroke two weeks ago. Mr. Sievers was born in Hanover, Germany, May 7, 1872 and came tot his country when a child. He lived here until 25 years ago. Mr. Sievers, a tailor, was retired from active business. Survivors are his wife: one son, Arthur, Winona: two daughters, Mrs. Clarence (Amelia) Tribell and Mrs. J.O. (Ida) Reinhard, Winona; two sisters, Mrs. Meta Tuschoff, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Kate Johnson, Eau Claire; two brothers, George, Sioux City, iowa, and Henry, Winona; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. |
