Note from research at norwayheritage.com about the church and Christian's baptism in Douglas, County.
According to the history about the church at usgenweb Polk county Minnesota page, the congregation actually formed in 1884 and met at member's homes and didn't have a church structure until 1897. But it's still most likely the confirmation occurred on 30 May 1880 at congregation in Douglas county since the family is there in 1880 census (probably June.)
A little further info abstracted from The Centennial History of the Thirteen Towns, says that the first building of Trinity congregation was the log house the Swedish Lutheran church across the road used. Trinity purchased it for $50 and used it for 5 years and then built the other church building.
