| Death of a daughter | Patricia Anne Knudson March 16, 2010 (Age 100 years) Note: Obituary: Moorhead, Patricia Anne February 5, 1933 to March 16, 2010 Pat spent her early years in Halstad MN where she attended a one- room school house through the second grade. She graduated from Central High School where she was known as the girl with the 'winkable, twinkable and merrily blinkable eyes.' She met Paul, the love of her life in high school and they were married in 1952. With the help of Kathleen and Park Nicollet Hospice team, she lived every moment of her final days with a remarkable sense of humor. Pat ran the family business and was a wonderful cook. She was active in the Garden Club at 7500 York and spent time near Pine City in the summer. Pat enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and golf. She loved to travel and her favorite vacation was time spent on a boat named the Alley Cat sailing the Caribbean with friends. She enjoyed watching football to the point where you couldn't talk to her except during commercials. Preceded in death by father, George Kudson, and brother, Georgie Knudson. She is survived by her husband, Paul; children, Robin Corman, Justin, (who she called every Thursday morning) Tracy Gervais, Mindy Thompson and Dirk (who we all refer to as the favorite); as well as 11 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; her mother, Gladys Knudson who recently celebrated her 100th birthday. Memorial service Sunday, March 21, 3:00 pm at the Cremation Society of MN, 7110 France Ave So., Edina 55435, visitation at 2:00 pm; 952-924-4100. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Nicollet Chapter AA.
